Future plans of the district council

 

1. Construction of commercial building / market on the property owned by the district council: -

 

(A) In order to increase the own income of Munshiganj District Council and to provide employment to the unemployed youth and young women of the district, construction work of multi-storied commercial building / market is planned on 55% of the land of the district council at JL 36, Khatian No. 2, 632 in Muktsarpur. . Proposals will be sent to the ministry soon along with necessary documents, post-design. If the market is built, the income of the district council will be around 60 lakh rupees annually.

(B) To increase the own income of Munshiganj Zila Parishad and to provide employment to unemployed youth and young women of the district, multi-storied multipurpose project in JL 35, Khatian Nos. Is under implementation. Proposals will be sent to the ministry soon along with necessary documents, post-design. If the market is built, the income of the district council will be around 50 lakh rupees annually.

(C) In order to increase the own income of Munshiganj District Council and to provide employment to the unemployed youth and young women of the district, there is a plan to construct multi-storied Bipani Bitan Bhaban at JL 41, Khatian No. 2, 139 in Bagmamudali Mouza near the old bus stand. Proposals will be sent to the ministry soon along with necessary documents, plan and design. If the market is built, the income of the district council will be around 40 lakh rupees annually.

 

2. There are plans to demolish the abandoned headquarters post bungalow of Munshiganj district council and build a post bungalow with a multi-storey commercial building on 15 percent of the land. Work on the project is being delayed due to land disputes with the district administration.

 

3. In the center of Munshiganj district town, adjacent to the Munshiganj New Market, owned by the district council, the district council is planning to construct a residential building including the ground floor Odotala market in about 6 percent of the old staff quarters (abandoned). If the project is implemented, the housing problem of the officers and employees of the district council will be eliminated and the income from the commercial building will be more than 20 lakh rupees annually.

 

4. A self-contained information and communication technology training at the Zila Parishad premises to provide low cost / free computer training to educated unemployed youth and young women for self-employment and poverty alleviation and to provide training on outsourcing / free-lancing and English language at home. (ICT Center) and plans have been adopted to set up one branch of this center in each upazila.

 

5. To prevent adulteration of food, mixing of formalin and other toxic harmful chemicals in various food items with serious health risks to the people and prevention of environmental pollution, the local people and all concerned departments have to take precautionary measures against such harmful activities. .

 

. Munshiganj district educated / semi-educated unemployed youth self-employment, poverty alleviation and employment opportunities abroad for the youth interested in driving, carpenter, electrician, radio-television repair, motor mechanic, etc. to provide training.
